“The project proposes to extend the offering of sustainable raw materials for the textile industry, starting from cellulose, developing high-quality regenerated fibres, while at the same time reducing the environmental impact.
The initiative offers an interdisciplinary collaboration platform that is international and cross-disciplinary, exploring and connecting bio-based sector players in the wood-to-textile value chain, with the aim of developing new and improved solutions for wood pulp modification, cellulose dissolution, and the generation of man-made cellulose fibre in Europe with improved technical properties.”
